At Victoria Falls the Zambezi River is 1,7 km wide and dives from 108 m high to reach the greatest cataract in the world with its 5 falls, Horseshoe Falls, Devil's Cataract, Main Falls, Rainbow Falls and Eastern Cataract. The thunder of its smoking waters rumbles day and night and produces a cloud of spray up to 500m high. The adventurous throw themselves from the Victoria Falls bridge into the dark green gorge of the Zambezi below.
It is also at Victoria Falls that rafting and canoeing are available for beginners as well as experienced rafters. Surfing is also available on the rapids.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Victoria Falls
Upon arrival, welcome and transfer to your hotel or Lodge. Late afternoon, sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Overnight at the hotel on Bed & Breakfast basis or half board basis.
Day 2: Victoria Falls
Early in the morning visit to the Victoria Falls Rain forest. Transfer back to the airport.
