Tour itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to St.Petersburg, meeting with the guide. Transfer to the city and check-in to the hotel.
Day 2: The city tour featuring major sights, such as the fourth biggest cathedral in the world St. Isaac’s, Peter-and-Paul Fortress located on the tiny island where the city was founded 300 years ago, magnificent Smolny and Nikolsky Cathedrals as well as fascinating city street and square. The guided tour to the Hermitage, one of the world’s biggest museum, which houses the largest collection of art, sculpture and ancient relics in the world. Boat trip along the channels and the Neva River. You will see why St. Petersburg is sometimes called "the Northern Venice".
Day 3: The guided tour to Peterhof - the summer residence of Peter the Great. There is one of the most beautiful collections of the fountains in the world. You will see the famous Great Cascade, Golden Samson Fountain, Chessboard Hill and lots of other elegant and magnificent fountains located in Lower Gardens, a park with sculptures, flowers-beds and picturesque alleys. The Grand Palace of Peter the Great, the Bath House and Monplaisir palace are the parts of one marvelous ensemble.
Day 4: The guided tour to Tsarskoe Selo (Pushkin) - the favourite residence of Catherine the Great. Visit to the beautiful Baroque-style Catherine Palace, and the legendary Amber Room, reopened after complete renovation. Visit to the Amber Salon
Departure to Pavlovsk. The guided walk along the Pavlovsk park - one of the greatest non-regular parks in Russia and Europe. Evening: Departure to Moscow with the night train.
Day 5: Arrival to Moscow, meeting with the guide. Transfer to the city and check-in to the hotel. The guided city tour around Moscow, visiting the Red Square and the Kremlin with its three cathedrals.
Day 6: The guided tour to Zagorsk (Sergiev Posad) with visit to Troitsko-Pechersky monastery that used to be the residence of the Patriarch of Russia.
Day 7: Check out. Transfer to the airport.
