Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: We leave at 14h00 Wintertime (15h00 Summertime) from our base into the Namib Desert, towards the ringing stones. On the route you will be able to see much of the deserts very scarce flora and some interesting rock formations. With a bit of luck we will also be able to see some of the very scarce desert wildlife. First overnight camp will be at the ringing stones.

Day 2: From Ringing stones we will hike into the endless rock canyons at the banks of the Swakopriver and at all times expecting the most unsuspected, like finding some tourmalines or just some normal crystal hidden amongst the rocks or in caves. Some parts of the desert will remind you of movies you have seen about the moon. Overnight stay will be in one of the canyons with a stunning view at sunset over the desert plains.

Day 3: Today we will have a fairly strong walk in the morning to make it back into the shades of the riverbed by lunch, where the Khan river meets the Swakopriver. If we are lucky, we will be able to see even bigger wildlife, such as Springbuck, Klipspringer, Ostrich, Baboons, Oryx, Jackal, etc. Camp will be set up in wonderful scenery of the Khan riverbed.

Day 4: After a hearty breakfast we will start the day down the riverbed towards the oasis Goanikontes. Here the guests can enjoy the pleasure of a nice refreshing pool during the hottest part of the day. In the afternoon we will walk on down the Swakop River and camp in the dessert under the starlit sky.

Day 5: The day might be the longest walk, as we try to be out of the mountainous riverbed and pass the black mountain "Nuberoffkap", cross into the small moon landscape with huge fields of lichens. The camp for the last night will be set up at the edge of the first sand dunes.

Day 6: The mist that comes over the dunes from the sea, can make this a fairly chilli morning. By now the hikers will feel the hike in their legs and some will certainly be happy to seeour base again at lunch.
