This tour is about relaxing and enjoying some great places both in Guatemala and El Salvador, for a great ride and interesting places this is a good choice.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Airport collection
You can now relax. You will be met on arrival and taken to your hotel in the old colonial city of Antigua.
Day 2: Day of preparation
After breakfast we waste no time in familiarizing ourselves with the Motorcycles Kawasaki KLR 650. We shall take a 2 hour ride to volcano Pacaya. This is a good introduction to the KLR but also it’s a great excursion that lets you climb one of the world most active volcanoes.
Day 3: Antigua to Lake Atitlan
We take all the back roads to this lake resort of Panajachel. With this panoramic ride we instantly feel and see the slow rural life of Guatemala.
Day 4: Rest Day
A free day to explore. There are many things to do here at this lake from paragliding to horse riding, or you can take a boat that will take you to many of the villages that surround the shores of this awesome lake.
Day 5: Lake Atitlan - Las Lisas
Las Lisas is a perfect example of a isolated beach paradise, white sands superb location with everything you need close at hand, which includes great food and beer.
Day 6: Las Lisas - Lago Coatapequez
Today we take a short ride to the Salvadoreno border and after we continue north until we arrive at this very beautiful lake called Coatepequez
Day 7: Day trip - Tzumal Ruins
Today we ride to the ruins of Tzumal these ruins date back 2000 BC and are a very important part of he Mayan civilization.
Day 8: Lago Coatapequez - Antigua
With relavent ease we take the 5-6 hour return ride back to Antigua where our tour ends 3pm.
