Your Itinerary
1st Day, 28th December 2008: Arrival
Individual arrival on the Bucharest Otopeni Internetional Airport. Guided transfer to Hotel Opera or Central. We are taking our rooms and free time until dinner.
2nd Day, 29th December 2008: The city
A tour of the city with one of our top guides shall give you an overview on the city with several faces. Although at the beginning one gets the impression of a new city, we shall show you its other face, which is hidden in many parts from the view of people. Visit to the House of the People. On our return, dinner in a nice restaurant in town.
3rd Day, 30th December 2008: The Monastery of Cernica
A short srive takes us to the Moastery of Cernica, one of the two closest to Bucharest. We find out, it was one of the many endangered chrches during the communist time in Romania.
Afternoon free at leisure until the evening,when we shall have dinner.
4th Day, 31st December 2008: Opera and ew Year's Eve
Free time until the evening. We shall attend at the National Opera the performance of "The Bat". All our guests are invited to the Gala Dinner today.
5th Day, 1st January 2009: Free at leisure
Today we shall have free time at leisure.
Dinner in town.
6th Day, 2nd January 2009: A Castle near Bucharest & transfer to the Airport
We will have the chance to see a castle near Bucharest - Mogosoaia, in the typically Romanian style of the 18th century.
We soon draw close to the end of our tour - time to say good-bye. Transfer to the Airport.
The right is reserved to change the programme at short notice.
All hotels mentioned are subject to availability and 3 MT Tours shall provide a hotel of the same quality, or better, in case of unavailability of a particular hotel.
