Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Your guide meets you at the airport in Almaty and takes you to the 3 star hotel Otrar where you can recuperate after your long flight.
Day 2: The day starts with a detailed briefing of what the trip holds. Today we acquaint ourselves with sightseeing of Almaty, the biggest city of Kazakhstan. We walk through the Panfilov park where the Zenkov cathedral is located. Then we visit the Museum of Kazakh Musical Instruments and hold a driving tour of Almaty’s main streets and squares. After delicious lunch at restaurant we drive to Karakol, the administrative center of Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan (500 km) by comfortable coach. We spend night at the so-called ‘government hotel’, a former Party compound called Complex Issyk-Kul.
Day 3: This day we visit Chinese mosque, Holy Trinity Cathedral and Przhevalsky museum. Then our drive takes us into Issyk-Kul hotel at the shore of unique Issyk-Kul Lake. It’s nearly 700 m deep, 170 km long and 70 km across and surrounded by mountain ranges of Kungey Ala-Too and Terskey Ala-Too. Here we have some time to hike, swim and enjoy the breathtaking views.
Day 4: We meet a new day and have breakfast at the board of motor ship which takes us to the marvelous voyage by the lake. Then we again take our coach and drive to Bishkek, the Kyrgyzstan’s capital. On the way we visit the Burana tower (minaret, 11th century). We stay at the luxury 4 star hotel Pinara-Bishkek.
Day 5: Today we have a full day to discover Bishkek and Ala-Archa National Park. The delicious outdoor lunch waits you at the mountain area. We end this day with Kyrgyz folk show at the hotel.
Day 6: You depart to Tashkent. We enjoyed hosting you in our country and hope to see you once again!
