Come ski or board the Italian side of the Matterhorn - known in Italian as Il Cervino, and stay in its Italian village, Cervinia. Here you can ski wide-open slopes while still having the benefit in also skiing Zermatt on the same ski pass and get away with a little less expensive stay!
Cervinia-Breuil is among the highest ski resorts in the Alps with skiing year round. The connection with Zermatt (Switzerland) creates a great ski domain with a snow-guarantee. Skiers and snowboarders will enjoy 219 miles of groomed slopes and 58 modern lifts, a great skiing experience for everyone from the champions to the beginners. The surrounding mountains provide breathtaking scenery.
Cervinia offers great gentle slopes - perfect for the beginner and intermediates, and when you are looking for the more difficult terrain you'll have plenty to choose from when you pop over the hill onto the steep side on your descent to Zermatt.
Your home for the week will be at the Hotel Chalet Voldotain located in a sunny position in from of the Lac Blue. Located 1200 meters from the town center there is a free shuttle bus that will whisk you to and from town and the slopes when you desire. While you're here, take in the indoor swimming pool, play a game a ping pong or just enjoy the wonderful Italian charm and wine and dine until your heart's content! After a week of relaxing pleasures, you will return home with memories to last a lifetime!
