No other period is better than the early spring and late autumn to climb the lovely mountains of the Lago di Garda. Wonderful views from the peaks down to the Lago di Garda will pleasure not only your eyes, but also your heart and soul. This area guarantees a lot of climbing-trips with variations in length and difficulty in the middle of a fantastic landscape combined with a southern flair. After climbing, your guide will lead you to one of the typical inns with specialties from Trento, where you can taste varied kinds of local wines!
Day 1: Arrival
We meet in Arco (3 km northwards from the page, di Garda) in our hotel at 6 pm. Over welcome drinks our guide will brief you the process of the week, check and distribute missing equipment.
Day 2: basic course and "via ferrata"
At the training walls of Arco you will be taught special climbing and "vie ferrate" techniques security, climbing, tying knots, abseiling). Afterwards assent over the "via ferrata" to Monte Colodri.
Day 3-Day 7: "vie ferrate"
The area of Lago di Garda and Arco offer a huge variety of "vie ferrate" which differ in difficulty and guarantees you sunny and steep climbing tours as well as fantastic impressions and views. Only to mention some of them: "F. Susatti" to the Cima Capi. Easy / intermediate - difference in altitude: 180m / walking hours: approx. 5 "Castel Drena". Intermediate - difference in altitude: 500m / walking hours: approx. 5. "Via dell'Amicizia" (steep ladders lead you above the Lago di Garda) Intermediate - difference in altitude: 650m / walking hours: approx. 6-7
"Monte Albano" (above the city Mori). Difficult - difference in altitude: 450m / walking hours: approx. 5. "R. Pisetta" at the Monte Dain. Steep climb above the Lake of Toblino Very difficult - difference of altitude 500m / walking hours: 6-7. "Che Guevara" - a long tour to the impressive massif of Monte Casale Intermediate - difference of altitude 1200m / walking hours: 8. In the middle of the week there will be also a climbing course at the training walls of Arco
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast the tour is at its end.
