Reaching into the very heart of the city, the Tivoli Park and the Tivoli Mansion are also worth a visit. Once you have seen all you can see in Ljubljana, shopped for souvenirs and enjoyed a local specialty at one of the many characteristic downtown outdoor cafes, a leisurely one-hour drive will take you back to Trieste in the late afternoon after a great day out!
