The hut is reserved for April 9-15 which cannot be changed since the hut books fully a year in advance. The trip includes the helicopter transport to and from the hut, meals and a cook to prepare them, and all group supplies such as repair items, emergency radio, etc. There is unlimited skiing and snowboarding in the area for all abilities. The hut has a large fully equiped kitchen and a sauna. The base price does not include guiding, which can be included for an additional cost. An advanced (Level 2) avalanche safety course may also be offered in conjunction with the trip if there is interest.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Meet in the town of Golden, BC and travel to helicopter staging area nearby. Fly into the hut and move in all food supplies, etc. Sometimes a short ski is possible depending on when we fly in. The pilots fly to several different huts every Saturday and the order may depend on localized weather. Fairy Meadows is one of the longer flights and usually requires 4-5 shuttles. Includes: (D).

Day 3: Ski. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 4: Ski. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 5: Ski. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 6: Ski. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 7: Ski. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 8: Get up early to have breakfast, clean up the hut for the next group, and get prepared to fly out whenever the helicopter shows up. Includes: (B).

Airfare is included in the tour price.
Price includes helicopter transport to and from hut, a cook, all morning and evening meals, the hut fees, and all group supplies. Transport to and from Golden BC is not included. Guiding is not included but can be arranged for an extra cost. Any incidental expenses in Golden such as meals and motel rooms are not included. Weather may preclude flying in as scheduled and any resulting out of pocket costs (i.e. an extra night in Golden) are not covered.
