The biking trip introduces you to the history of this fascinating region, to its artisans and local cuisine as you bike by vineyards, lakes, hills and meadows. Travel at your own pace on quiet country roads or groomed bike trails, with stops for exclusive visits to artists' studios, a remote monastery, provincial parks, sun-baked vineyards, and more.

Whether you are travelling on your own or with a guide, You will stay in some of the finest inns and B&Bs in the Eastern Townships and enjoy guilt-free, gourmet dinning at day's end. Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Wood & Westland greets you with a wine and cheese reception to review your itinerary. Enjoy a gourmet dinner on your first night. (D)

Day 2: Day Two begins with a hearty country breakfast at your charming Bed & Breakfast inn. Geared up with your helmet, water bottle, route notes and bicycle, your first day's ride over rolling hills takes you past eight vineyards. Enjoy an exclusive guided tour of a Loyalist Museum, then feast on a generous picnic lunch in a family-run vineyard. Sample some of the award-winning wines that have made this region famous. If you still feel like adventure perhaps you would like to try a tree-top adventure in Sutton. At day's end, enjoy another gourmet experience at a fine restaurant. (B) / (L) / (D)

Day 3: On Day Three, you travel some of the most scenic country roads in Quebec. You'll stop for an exclusive tour of a painter's studio. Then, cool off with a mid-morning dip in a private pond. A short ride will take you to the town of Knowlton, a picturesque Victorian village on Brome Lake. Your afternoon ride will take you through a canopy of maple trees to a rustic spa, where you can while away the afternoon in an outdoor hot tub, Finnish sauna or steam room. Back at your inn, dine on Mediterranean-style cuisine served by your colorful hosts. (B) / (D)

Day 4: Day Four’s ride meanders through pastoral landscapes to the quiet town of Vale Perkins, where you can sample some of the finest croissants and cheeses in Quebec at the local bakery. The next stop is a remote monastery, where Wood & Westland has arranged an exclusive tour by one of the resident monks. Listen to Gregorian chants in the chapel overlooking Lake Mempremagog. Enjoy a picnic lunch and sample the monks' award-winning blue cheese that has won acclaim from Gourmet Magazine. From there, a quick boat ride across the lake will take you to the bustling town of Magog. You will spend your final two nights in this lively, lakeside town. (B) / (L)

Day 5: Day Five offers you several options. Explore Magog's groomed bike trails. Spend the day browsing the local antique shops and boutiques, or just relax at the beach. Whatever you choose, Wood & Westland will help you plan a perfect day. A special evening dinner will promise to please. (B) / (D)

Day 6: Enjoy a leisurly morning or cycle in the near by Provincial Park. Mid morning, Wood&Westland will transport you back to your point of departure. (B)

If you are on a guided tour, you will stop along the way back to your point of departure for a scenis hike and lunch. (B) / (L)
