Your Itinerary

Day 1:
One day in Tallinn

Arrival to Tallinn, Estonia:

- by ferry from Helsinki , Stockholm or Rostock

- by train from St.Petersburg

- by bus from Germany, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus or Ukraine

- by plane from Helsinki, Stockholm, Cobenhagen, Moscow, Hamburg, Frankfurt, London, Paris and other cities

Your guide(tour leader) and a car (van, bus will meet you (your group) at entry point - airport, harbour, railway station or bus station.

Transfer, check-in to hotel, guesthouse, apartment or BB (depends on the visitors orders and if they need accomodation at all for short visit to Tallinn).

City tour- walking or combined tour (drive by car or minibus or tourist bus) in the city to see sights outside of the Old Town.
Some names of sights and districts out of the OldTown area

Kadriorg is one of the oldest and largest parks in Estonia, where you can find tiny, but beatiful and well renovated summer palace built by famous Russian czar Peter the Great,. After that The Song Festival Grounds where the Estonian song festival is held every four years and Pirita area (TV tower, woodland cemetry, complex of biggest Medieval buildings in Tallinn- Pirita convent (in ruins),

Visit to Estonian Open Air Museum.

The Estonian Open Air Museum (founded in 1957) is the central museum of Estonian rural architecture, situated at a 8 km distance from the centre of Tallinn. 70 farmhouses from West-, North- and South-Estonia as well as from the islands, together with public buildings, are exposed on a 84 ha territory. The farmbuildings are assembled to farmyards. The village church, an inn, mills and a fire station add a special touch to the village atmosphere.

After taht walking tour of the Old Town- the best preserved medieval city in the Northern Europe.
The medieval Hanseatic town is a mosaic of twisty cobblestoned streets, gabled roofs, fairy-tale turrets and soaring spires, all packed within an ancient fortress wall.

Tallinn’s Old Town has preserved its original format to such a degree that it earned the city a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The Committee decided to inscribe this property on the basis of criteria, considering that Tallinn is an outstanding and exceptionally complete and well preserved example of a medieval northern European trading city that retains the salient features of this unique form of economic and social community to a remarkable degree.

Names some of major sights and attractions in the Old Town- The Flat Margaret, Three Sisters, City Wall, Three Borthers, St Olev church, Great Guild House, Town Hall (the oldest in Baltic countries), St Nicholaus church, Toompea palace, Russian ortodox cathedral dedictaed to A. Nevksi, Dome Church, Kiek in Kök (the most powerful protection tower in the Baltics).

Lunch at the restaurant. There are numerous restautants in Tallinn (Estonian, Russian, Medieval, French, Indian etc cuisine)

Shopping and exploring city on your own.

Transfer back to the hotel (guesthouse, apartment) or to airport, harbour, bus station or railway station.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.

Tour fee depends on the group size, how much and what kind of transportation will be used, what will be the lenght of the tour.
Price 120 Euro per person is valid for couple or two people and it includes guiding service + car with driver for short city tour.
Car is required to see sights outside of the Old Town.
Just walking tour of the Old Town or tour without transpaortation for two people- 80 Euro pp.

Price less then 30 euro pp can be used for groups of 25 people or more who want to do full day tour.

But this price can work for groups of 13-15 people as well who like a shorter tour (city tour by van 2 hours + walking tour of the Old Town 3 hours or so).
Group leader free of charge

Just walking tour of the Old Town, 20-80 Euro pp. The rate depends on the group size. For example- group of 10 people - tour fee will be 25 Euro pp (group leader free of charge)
