Your Itinerary
Days 1-2: Quito
Enjoy a relaxing evening at our charming Quito hotel overlooking the city. Our first full day is spent exploring Quito, a spectacular colonial capital, before transferring to the tranquil Ecuadorian countryside and a lakeside lodge. (B/L/D).
Days 3-4: Cuicocha - Otavalo
On foot and horseback we explore ancient Inca sites, local villages, and Lake Cuicocha's emerald crater. Later, we bike through magnificent countryside on serene dirt roads before feasting on all the sights and sounds of the Otavalo market, the oldest and largest indigenous market in all of South America. Days 5-6: Cotopaxi - Quito
Explore the Avenue of the Volcanoes and Cotopaxi National Park. Amid this awe-inspiring landscape, we hike from the wildflower-filled Paramo grasslands to the glacier on this magnificent volcano. Then enjoy a surreal bike ride through a breathtaking lunar landscape where wild stallions roam and Andean condors soar. (B/L/D).
Days 7-12: Galapagos - Quito
Experience Charles Darwin's inspiration as we travel among this enchanted archipelago. Hike among gigantic tortoises; swim, sea kayak and snorkel alongside sea lions, dolphins, and vibrant tropical fish and witness beauty beyond belief in this exotic volcanic landscape. (B/L/D).
