Located in the eastern Aegean Sea, Greece’s third largest island has captivated travelers since the Roman times. The land of many legends and myths, it is also known to be the birthplace of famous artists and important figures of the ancient world. Among the most reputed one, was Sappho, the 6th century poetess, who wrote passionate lyrical verses for women.
Tradition, culture, history and the arts blend in with the untouched natural environment. Capture on film picturesque cobblestone streets surrounded with Ottoman architecture, ancient monasteries, miraculous icons and historical fortresses. And of course, savor the world famous Ouzo drink, hopefully after some evocative photography.
