Adventure sailing trips between Phuket, Thailand and Langkawi, Malaysia! The area south of Phuket and all the way down to Langkawi, Malaysia, is literally dotted with islands. Most have ‘straight from the brochure’ perfect white sand beaches and palm trees. Many are magnificent Limestone structures, which have been used in many film sets (James Bond, The Beach, etc.) and are riddled with caves and caverns to be explored. All are surrounded by warm turquoise water with excellent snorkeling.
The area has some good diving and is perfect for those who want to ‘have a go’. The sailing is easy, gentle cruisin'... a lazy 15 knots or so of wind most of the time; that means flat calm water and definitely no seasickness!
The Thai people are also wonderful . . .it is a natural part of their culture to be friendly and welcoming to strangers—the "Land of Smiles" is a very apt title. The Buddhist culture is a rich and totally fascinating contrast to our familiar Western world. And the FOOD!!! - It is the best treat to one's tastebuds ever! The area is truly all the things that the postcards promise. If you could paint a picture of paradise, the islands of Southern Thailand would be it!!!
