Built three hundred years ago by Lord Kenmare as a shooting lodge, the house has been lovingly restored by George and Christiane Graves. Now owned by Paco Graves, their son. The house offers unique bedrooms, some with sea views over looking the beautiful gardens. With its own river the Ouvane running along side. This is a perfect place for the most relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Ballylickey Manor House, home of the Franco-Irish Graves family for four generations, lies hidden among the rugged inlets of majestic Bantry Bay. This secluded Manor House has the ambiance of a beautiful family home, cherished and nurtured over the centuries.
Originally built over 300 years ago as a shooting lodge by Lord Kenmare it was carefully restored by the present owner the Graves family in the late 1940's. Visited over the years on many occasions by the poet Robert Graves, an great-uncle of the present owner. M13677 became a haven for writers, artists and musicians.
