This is the Midwest region of Ireland.
Farm activities will vary depending on the farm but some examples are as follows: fruit picking, harvesting the vegetables, collecting eggs from the hens, feeding the farm animals, milking the cows/goats, haymaking, preparing the firewood, working in the garden, preparing bedding for the animals etc.
Please note that the farmhouses are rustic and guests should not expect a very high standard of accommodation. These are real farms not guesthouses or B&B They do however offer clean, comfortable accommodation and a charming country and outdoor lifestyle. You will be treated as a member of the family and eat meals with the family.

This will depend on where the farms tay is located. The West of Ireland is famous for its beautiful countryside and magical coastlines. There is always a range of activities to choose from golf, horse riding, fishing, boating, visit historical sights etc.

All our farm stay are within 1.5 hours of Limerick City. The nearest international airport for the region is Shannon International Airport.
