The exclusive and luxurious Tongabezi Lodge, situated on a private estate on the banks of the Zambezi River is just 15 km upstream from Victoria Falls. Access is from Victoria Falls, Livingstone and Kasane airports by road or air transfers.
Tongabezi accommodates 18 guests and boasts five luxury cottages and four spacious, open-plan stone and thatch houses. The rooms are comfortably furnished and each unique in design. All rooms have magnificent views across the Zambezi River, en-suite bathrooms and its own valet.
Meals are served in the large dining room or on the deck overlooking the river.
The Zambezi National Park is located across the river, and Lion calls can often be heard at night.
There are a large number of activities (inclusive or non inclusive), which will keep you exhilarated throughout your stay.
Inclusive activities: visits to Victoria Falls, guided walking with a personal guide, fishing, sunrise and sunset boating and canoing.
Non inclusive activities: crocodile and snake park visits, bungee jumping, white water rafting, a visit to Livingstone Island where you can enjoy lunch in the middle of the Zambezi, right on the lip of the Victoria Falls and flights over the Falls, to mention a few.
Should you not wish to partake in any of these activities, Tongabezi is also ideal for just relaxing in camp and lazing around the pool. Whatever you decide to do, Tongabezi will astonish you with its comfort, superb service, incredible views and array of activities.
