Heading up the Umatilla River, the Bar M Ranch is located just 30 miles east of Pendleton, Oregon in the foothills of the Blue Mountains. The 3,000 acre guest ranch is located along the river in the canyon amid tall pine, fir, and cottonwood trees. Experience the wonders of the West upon the back of one of our 45 beautiful horses. M13360 is a small dude ranch with a capacity of 45 guests. Our size allows us to give each guest our personal attention as they ride horses, fish and participate in our activities. Within 25 miles, there is an 18 hole golf course, Wildhorse Casino and Tamastslikt Indian Cultural Center.
In Pendleton there is the Pendleton Woolen Mills, Underground Tours, several Museums and shopping. Be sure to see the world famous "Pendleton Round Up" rodeo every year on the second full week of September along with the Happy Canyon Night Show and the Professional Bull Riders Tour.
The Walla Walla Valley, which is 45 miles from the ranch, is home to many world class wineries.
The best time for skiing and snowmobiles is December. The closest skiing and snowmobiling is at Spout Springs which is 50 miles or 1 hour drive. There is also skiing at Bluewood and Anthony Lakes.
During the month of August in Hermiston (which is approximately 60 miles) there is the Umatilla County Fair and Farm City Pro Rodeo, which is rated one of the top in the nation.
The Wallowa Mountains are a 2 hour drive from the ranch. With its picturesque lake, tram ride and Joseph Bronze Foundry it makes a great day trip.

Policy:
Deposit: A deposit of 25% confirms your reservation when received within two weeks of booking. We accept VISA, Mastercard, traveler’s and personal checks.
Balance due: The balance, along with the 1% tax and any additional charges billed to you, is due at the end of your stay.
Cancellations: For summer season reservations: cancellations made 60 days prior to reservation date will receive balance of deposit minus a $100.00 cancellation fee; within 60 days of reservation date results in a non-refundable deposit. For off season reservations: cancellations made 10 days prior to reservation date will receive balance of deposit minus a $30.00 cancellation fee; within 10 days of reservation date results in non-refundable deposit. Early departure is subject to full payment.
Gratuity: Optional but greatly appreciated by our hard working staff.
