Osprey's 5 camps are located on an island in the middle of Mistassini Lake. The territory, covering an area of2,336 square kilometers of rugged shore offers unparalleled fishing opportunities. Our guests have access to a territory reserved exclusively for outfitters, meaning that you encounter few other anglers in active pursuit of the dream catch by allowing the fisherman access to waters beyond the 51st parallel, which is territory reserved solely for native use.
Property amenities:
The expanse of the lake offer exceptional fishing of speckled and lake trout; the shallow bays and their tributaries are a fisherman's havens for pike and walleye. The camp comprises 5 log cabins that can accommodate 4 persons, two bedrooms with 2 single beds each.
Every cabin is equipped with a propane powered stove, refrigerator, lighting and running water, as well as kitchenware for preparing and serving meals. A common toilet/shower facility as well as an area for cleaning and storing daily catches is also made available to our visitors.
The rustic appeal combined with modern amenities will ensure that your stay at Osprey Camp is both comfortable and memorable. Our native guides are knowledgeable and will impart their expertise, appreciation and respect for this wonderful region. For peace in mind and the safety of our guests, qualified personnel will be on site at all times. Moreover, native attractions, architectural as well as cultural sites are on display on our grounds and made accessible to our visitors, that include among others: tasting wild game in a teepee or in our dinning room, lakeside lunch prepared by our guides, and observation of the natural beauty of our lands, flora and geology.

The Package includes:
* 3/4/7 nights in a camp (4 persons per camp) - 3 meals a day (shore lunch on request).
* round floatplane trip Mistissini/Osprey - guide & 18’ boat for 2 persons - 50 hp motor, oil, gas & life jacket.
* Fish preparation & storage - Teepee cree meal tasting.
Not included in Package:
* Transportation to Mistissini (pick-up by plane from Montréal as an option)
* Quebec fishing licences & applicable taxes - Fishing equipment & lures (lures can be bought on site to accomodate clients).
For those who are experienced trout fishermen in deep waters, we suggest you bring your portable sonar, downriggers, and/or leaded lines. Fishing season begins at the end of May (dates to be confirmed) and ends beginning of September (date to be confirmed). A minimum of 4 persons per camp is necessary to confirm booking. Groups of 2/3 persons can be confirmed from May 1st with a transportation supplement ($300.00/person for 2; $150.00/pers. for 3). Arrivals & departures are scheduled on Monday and Friday is at fixed hours. (8h00/9h30/11h00/12H30/2h00)
