The hotel was converted in 1991 from a country mansion house built in the Victorian era to the magnificent luxury hotel it is today. This historic building includes 87 individually furnished bedrooms, the award winning Oak Room Restaurant and Orangery Terrace Brasserie. The M12127 Spa is linked to the hotel by a glass walkway.

Cancellation policy - we require 24 hours notice prior to arrival, effective from 2.00 p.m. to avoid the first night’s accommodation being charged. Check-In time is 2.00 p.m. and Check-Out on day of departure is 11.00 a.m. No children will be admitted to spa below the age of 7. Eligible children are allowed access to the pool and changing room areas only between the hours of 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 9:00 am and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. We do not allow pets in the hotel. To guarantee a table at one of the hotel restaurants it is essential to boo in advance.
