Walk the trails to the river, and when your inner voice tells you to rest you'll find private benches, and hammocks, inviting and perfectly placed. Surrounded by native birds and butterflies, or you can go all the way to the river and get your feet wet stepping over the rocks.
A twenty minute exploration and you'll be rewarded with a spectacular waterfall. On your way back you can swim in the pool surrounded by coffee plants and trees.
Our working coffee plantation is surrounded by beautiful mountain a nature preserve canyon and big river in the mornings one can hear the howlers monkeys which come to feed from a tree right outside of our backyard where we have provided for your enjoyment - a lookout point "mirador" making and ideal spot for bird watching.

Volcán Poás - a spectacular volcano with one of the world’s largest craters. Stand on the rim of this active volcano and watch the fumarole activity. Bring walking shoes and a windbreaker. Stop at El Trapiche, a sugar cane processing farm and restaurant. You can also visit the volcano with ATV's (they will pick you up at the hotel and the tour starts in Grecia through the scenic back roads, lunch included. $100 per person (2 persons on the same ATV $150).
White water rafting - most popular tour expert outfitter and river guide takes beginners down the thrilling waters of the Reventazón River. Kayaking also available.
Sportfishing - deep sea fishing only one hour from our Inn in Punta Leona. Scuba diving also available.
Los Angeles Cloud Forest/Villa Blanca Resort - Take a 2-½ hour guided tour of this natural wonder. Bring walking shoes and a light windbreaker.
Butterfly Farm and Bird Zoo - The butterfly gardens contain over 70 species of Costa Rica’s most beautiful butterflies. In La Garita, Zoo Ave is famous for its extensive tropical bird collection.
