Our retreat is situated on 5 acres only 4kms from the beautiful seaside town of Wynyard. It offers a quiet getaway in peaceful, private surroundings but is still within easy commuting of some of Tasmania's great tourist spots such as Stanley, Cradle Mountain, Fossils Bluff, Table Cape and Boat Harbour Beach.
A hearty breakfast provision is provided to be enjoyed sitting on the balcony gazing across the paddocks to the tree lined gully while listening to the birds cherping or at the dining table with a blast from the past sounding out from the old LP records. Relax with a book or explore the Wynyard area on one of the many walking tracks, have a leisurely walk along the beach or take in the lovely setting of the Gutteridge Gardens.
Golf, scuba diving, scenic flights, fossil, hunting, penguin colony, vintage car display, art gallery and shopping can all be visited right here in Wynyard with no parking meters, little traffic and plenty of places to pull over and admire the view. Wynyard has an airport (Burnie/Wynyard) that is serviced by Melbourne flights several times a day and hire cars can be arranged at the airport before or when you land.
The climate in Tasmania offers all year round enjoyment with winter snows, summer heat and crisp spring and autumn days. An hour or twos drive gives you plenty of variety with rich farming areas to mountainous peaks, rugged oceans, enormous sand dunes and large lakes.
Tasmania is easy to get around with excellent highways expanding from one end of the island to the other, good sign posting and plenty of information centers. It has 4 main centers, Hobart in the south, Launceston in the North and Devonport and Burnie in the north-west. Give yourself plenty of time to explore what Tassy has to offer as it is very diverse with each region offering plenty to do and see.

Wynyard is situated on the NW coast of Tasmania 1 hours drive to Devonport, 2 hours drive to Lauceston and only 15 mins from Burnie all major cities in Tasmania.
Policy:
A deposit is required that is non-refundable if cancellation is with-in 2 weeks of dates booked. Check in time is 2 pm and check out time is 10 am. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required and smoking is prohibited in the unit however there are pleasant outside areas set up for smokers. Children are welcome with a cot and highchair available on request(max 2). Pets are welcome but outside only we provide a secure yard and undercover area for sleeping.
