Next door is the Wairau Valley Tavern established and licenced in 1856 as an accommodation house, some 140 years ago, making it the oldest tavern still operating in Marlborough. Casual players are welcome at the Wairau Valley Golf Course within walking distance of Wai-natur. Leighvander Cottage offers all the delights of yesteryear, an olde worlde studio set amongst cottage gardens brimming with unique gift lines. I'm-a-Gunna-Farm, Sardines to Whales!, but currently farming Quinnett salmon and native freshwater crayfish, known as "Koura". Pack up a picnic and stroll along to the classic 1960's family farm Landsdowne Farm Park. At The Jeymar Soap Shop on the way home you will get the chance to see how their natural soap is made. Explore the remainder of the Art & Craft Trail; Revitalise on the Queen Charlotte Track and Wither Hills; Indulge in the Marlborough Wine Trail.
