Welcome to Serendipity at Pisgah, a special place. Serendipity is defined as making an unexpected and fortunate discovery, which is what we have found this cabin to be. We wanted a place to go with our family and our golden retriever that was beautiful, comfortable, convenient to nature and affordable. We think that you will agree that Serendipity is all of the above.
Hike the trails of the forest and be back home in your cabin the same day without having to drive. Fish or go tubing in the South Toe River or play a round of golf at the Mt. Mitchell Country Club. Located ten minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 30 minutes to historic downtown Burnsville, one hour to Asheville or Boone.
We call the cabin "Serendipity", a fortunate discovery. Our family has been coming to Western North Carolina for years searching for the perfect family vacation spot. We believe we have found it in Serendipity. It is the perfect combination, isolated but not too far from civilization. You could come, with a stop at the supermarket on the way in, and have enough to do without having to use your car. Serendipity also makes the perfect home base for day trips to all North Carolina and Tennessee has to offer.

Brand new smoke-free cabin sits under huge oak tree and across from trout stream in Pisgah National Forest. Completed in June of 2005, this modern, yet rustic cabin sleeps 4 – 6 people. One bedroom has a queen size bed. The other bedroom has two twin beds. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room. Quality linens are provided. The cabin has central air conditioning to keep you cool in summer on those rare days when the ceiling fans don't do the job. Central heat will keep you toasty warm in winter along with the cozy wood-burning fireplace. We have also provided you with satellite TV, A DVD player and a VCR. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is also a full size washer and dryer.
