Imagine starting your day with an outdoor yoga class on a deck built directly above the tranquil ocean waters, followed by a healthy organic breakfast. Next, we hike through the rainforest down to a quiet cove, where we will get our kayaks for a trip to a secluded beach. At all times you are physically and mentally supported by our expert team who guide you through the various activities and help you to achieve your goals. Finally, a much deserved break is on the agenda where you may enjoy snorkeling in the emerald waters, snacking on a freshly prepared vegetarian lunch, or simply nodding off under the shade of your very own palm tree.
Back at the lodge, one of the on-staff massage therapists will treat you to a full-body massage. You may follow this up with an optional second yoga class, or if the sights and sounds of the day have inspired you, there is always paint, brushes and canvas available to bring out your inner artist. Or, perhaps learning the basics of Brazilian rhythms... if samba, bossa nova or capoeira are more your speed.
Dinner is served under the stars, the perfect ambience in which to enjoy the delicious dishes made with local, natural ingredients, carefully selected to detoxify your body. This secluded lodge rests harmoniously within the Atlantic Rainforest, sitting at the foot of the Ocean. Aside from its exotic location, the lodge itself entertains a multitude of charming surprises. The surroundings are truly beautiful as the lodge offers a private beach, a yoga deck and our own private pier.
The lodge is built on a jungle hillside and sits directly above the calm ocean waters. It features:

The island boasts 106 beaches, some of which are completely virgin and isolated. Lopes Mendes beach was ranked among the best 10 beaches in the world. Ilha Grande has no roads, no cars, no banks, just a few fishing villages along its cost, linked by beautiful jungle trails. The scenary is breathtaking: impressive mountains and peaks, all covered by lush Atlantic Rainforest, outstanding waterfalls and rivers, white sand beaches, and emerald bays with quiet waters. The island is protected by the Brazilian Government as a Wildlife and Natural Reserve. Currently, only 5% of the original Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest remains. Ilha Grande is one of the last refuges that hosts one of the richest ecosystems of the planet.
There are many archeological sites that show the rich history of the island, the Tomoios indians, the pirates, the European colonizers, the slaves.

100 kilometers south from Rio de Janeiro.
Policy:
Reservation: we request a $300 deposit through paypal. The balance must be paid 30 days prior to the trip.
Cancellation: we do not refund any payments in case of cancellation.
Rescheduling: in case of cancellation, guests are able to reschedule for another available week during the same season.
Check-in/check-out time: guests should arrive to Rio International Airport not later than Sundays 1:00PM and take their flight back never before Saturdays 6:30PM.
Minimum stay: the program is scheduled on a weekly basis. However, we allow shorter stays (3 days minimum).
General conditions: no smoking, alcohol nor cafeine allowed during the stay. Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the program. Pets are also not allowed. Childcare is available only in special weeks.
