We love the natural energies of our wooded retreat vacation log cabin, river cottage and saltwater spring getaway, and invite you to recharge and reconnect: take in the natural beauty and rustic surroundings they offer; truly, a unique and refreshing departure from the condo, hotel, concrete, cookie-cutter track homes of the everyday tourist experience. Florida has much nature to offer, and we invite you to a ringside seat: the deer you see here stood only 15 feet away from the log cabin back door, century oaks embrace the river cottage, and the saltwater lagoon connects directly to the Mason Creek inlet to the Gulf of Mexico at the springs retreat. Each of our Florida vacation rentals is located in the west central Florida Gulf coast area just north of Tampa Bay.

LOG CABIN: The log cabin is a 2-bedroom, 1-bath western cedar home nestled among old growth hardwood trees. It sits on ½ acre and is a perfect "getaway to nature" without being too far from town. This charming 1990 log cabin is about 1,000 square feet and can comfortably sleep 6 guests. And you’ll still be close enough to go into the city if you want to. We’re located between the Gulf Coast area of Crystal River and Homosassa Springs and the major Disney and Central Florida attractions of Orlando.
TALISMAN TREEHOUSE: This vacation home rental, embraced by ancient oaks, sits directly on a spectacular stretch of the upper reaches of the Withlacochee River (where it exits the state forest). The home is situated at the end of a lime rock road that forms a private and secluded point on the river. Directly across the river on the other bank is the Florida Creek Indian Tribal Grounds. This riverfront retreat offers incredible scenic beauty, magical in the simple diversity of the river wildlife and its peaceful surroundings. Whether you find your relaxing pleasure in fishing, boating, kayaking, observing bird life, or just reading that book you’ve been meaning to get to, you’ll be delighted with all the opportunities offered by the river house.
SALTWATER SPRINGS RETREAT: Unique and enchanting, this refreshing vacation retreat is located on a salt-water lagoon just off the Mason Creek Inlet to the Gulf of Mexico. The 1,840 square foot, 2002 Jacobsen™ home is nestled among native cypress, palm, oak and cedar trees on nearly 1 acre of beautiful land. This property is in an area of secluded, upscale homes and is only a few minutes away from eating, shopping, and sightseeing venues of Homosassa, Florida. In the backyard you’ll find an incredible screened-in tiki hut awaiting your family get-togethers.
Policy:
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required. Balance due 30 days prior to occupancy at which time access for lockbox will be given. There is a Security Deposit of $100, refundable after departure; depending on the condition of the premises, a cleaning fee may be charged.
