The three-bedroom unit downstairs has three double beds and three twin beds, a queen hide-a-bed sofa, outfitted kitchen, cable television, VCR, private phone, bathroom with tub/shower combination and the master bathroom has a shower, washer and dryer, gas BBQ, decks on front and back of the house.

Breakfast
The kitchen is stocked upon arrival with the staple foods and a variety of breakfast foods for a self-cook breakfast including hot and cold cereal, pancake mix, bread for toast, eggs, juice, milk, coffee and tea.
Location
About 12 miles NORTH OF TOWN at Mile 14 N. Tongass Highway on Knudson Cove Road about a 30-minute drive from the airport ferry and the Alaska ferry terminal.
Transportation
You should consider a rental car if you are not bringing a car. A taxi will cost approximately $35 to this B&B.If you would like to rent a car, we would be glad to arrange one for you through Alaska Car Rental. They have an office on the town side and at the airport. They also offer courtesy transfers. Cars start at $46.95 per day or $275 per week for compacts up to $72.95 per day or $425 per week for minivans. For larger groups, a 15-pax van is available for $89.95 per day or $550 per week. Four wheel drive Durangos are available in Ketchikan for $89.95 per day or $550 per week. Durangos may be taken to Prince of Wales Island for $99.95 per day or $600 per week.
The Airport Shuttle meets all flights and will take you from the airport to the B&B for $18 per person within the city limits. There is an additional charge of $1 per mile to homes outside the city. The Shuttle also offers transfer from the airport to the town side only for $10 per person. The driver is usually waiting in the baggage claim area or outside by the Airport Shuttle. For advanced reservations you can call (907) 225-5429. Be sure to have your flight number available when you call.
The Tongass Water Taxi also meets flights at the airport, weather dependent. They do not operate in high winds. The Water Taxi has a flexible schedule and can take you to the dock across from the airport as well as to other docks on the "townside." The transfer fee is from $4 to $15 depending on the drop off location. A discount is offered for additional people in the same group. You will see their personnel in the baggage claim area or you can call Rick’s cell phone at (907)209-8294. If your host will be picking you up on the townside, be sure to tell them that you are using the Water Taxi and where you will be disembarking.
RECEIVE ALASKA AIRLINE MILES
when you use KETCHIKAN RESERVATION SERVICE to book your B&B or vacation rental at this participating property. Reservations made after June 20th will earn one mile for every $2 spent for lodging excluding tax. To qualify, you will need an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan number. Miles will be posted directly to your account at the end of the month following your stay. You can check your account online at AlaskaAir.com.

Pet Policy
Pets may be allowed with prior approval. Hosts have specific pet rules that will be discussed at time of booking and a pet deposit is required. A charge of $10 per day will be added to the room rate for each pet.
Deposit and Confirmations
A minimum deposit of the first night plus tax is required or 50% of the total amount if reserving more than two nights. Personal checks and major credit cards are accepted. Upon receipt of your deposit, a confirmation will be sent by mail or fax with your B&B information, map and directions. The balance due, if any, is payable to your host upon arrival.
Cancellations and Refunds
We appreciate notification as early as possible if you need to cancel or shorten your reservation. The deposit will be refunded less $15 fee plus tax if notified at least two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival. The two-week advance notice will be waived if cancellation is due to a medical emergency in the immediate family, however, the cancellation fee still applies. Proof may be required. If the room can be filled, the balance of the deposit will gladly be refunded.
