Christmas Island is located 119 mile from the equator which means the weather is exactly the same all year long, creating one of the few year round bonefish destinations. The stories you hear are true, lots and lots of bonefish averaging 4-6 pounds, many over ten! Being the much smaller of the two lodges on the island we cater to the fly fishing fanatic. We can offer you more time on the water with more opportunities to fish the flats you want. If you want more fishing and flexible schedules and individual itineraries than this new lodge is for you. This is a week long trip with departures out of Hawaii only once a week. You get 7 days of fishing and I have had 60 bonefish days here. There is no other place that I know that fishes so well year round year after year.

The Mini-Hotel Kiritimati will be your home for the next week. Eri and Agnes Reiti are the owners of the hotel and they will ensure your stay will be comfortable. The hospitality shown by this great couple will permeate your trip and your memories for life. The Lodge can comfortably accommodate 6 anglers per week in an intimate bed and breakfast style setting. Guests sleep 2 to a room with shared bath facilities. Each room is comfortably furnished and includes ceiling fan, but no air conditioning. The average temperature at night is 72 degrees and the days high in the mid 80’s. We are located in the village of London, just steps away from the boat launch and a short ride away from the legendary flats of Christmas Island. Breakfast and dinner are served family style and one would be hard pressed to find more unique meals anywhere on the island.
Nearby attractions and activities:
The only thing to do here on Christmas Island is to fish, dive or bird watch. There are not many places in the world that have better fishing or diving either so it works out well. We can combine a trip of diving and fishing if you are so inclined or your group is part fishing and part diving.
Dive Kiribati is often described as a land-based live-aboard dive operation. With a minimum of three tank dives daily, divers can dive as much as they wish. Each week is customized to the group’s desires. Dive Kiribati has an exclusive license so you are the only dive boat on the largest coral atoll in the Pacific. There is no rush to be the first boat on the best spot, no restrictions where you can dive.

Christmas Island is 1,000 miles south of Hawaii.
Policy:
A 50% deposit will reserve your space with the balance due 60 days before departure. Written cancellations more than 60 days from departure are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Within 60 days of departure cannot be refunded unless your spot can be filled. Since payment is not refundable we urge you to invest in travel insurance. It is so far away that any number of things can go wrong (none of which are your fault or the fault of Ed Blank’s Adventures or Christmas Island Outfitters) and cause you to miss the trip. If you miss the plane to the island there isn’t another one for a week! A new job promotion, a family emergency etc. Air service is only available on Tuesdays so be in Honolulu Monday evening so you can get the 6 am flight in the morning. Shorter stays are not available without chartering your own plane! Two week stays can be arranged at a discounted rate for the second week.

The 7 Night & Day fishing package to Christmas Island is 1995 in the high season $1695 in the low season which is June, July, August, and September.
Prices include: ground transportation to the lodge, all lodging, meals and guided fishing while on Christmas Island.
Prices do not include: Transportation from your home to Hawaii or Fiji, Round trip jet service between Honolulu or Nadi, Fiji and Christmas Island ( Purchase through Air PAcific or your local travel agent ,hotel accommodations outside of CI, alcoholic beverages, gratuities or travel insurance (travel insurance is highly recommended for both trip cancellation and medical emergency evacuation).
