The Pillars is a restored 1870 mansion on a secluded acre of trees and gardens in the Nationally Registered Van Wyck Brooks Historic District. Guests enjoy the serene quiet of extensive gardens and a grand old home with a three-story circular staircase, stained and bevelled glass windows, fireplaces, exquisite canopy beds and old fashioned soaking tubs.

First night’s charge as a deposit. Cancellations accepted 48 hours before weekday and 14 days before weekend & holiday reservations. No cancellation charge. We welcome early check-ins. You can have your room as soon as it is ready. We are firm on check-out at 11 AM. Delayed check-out can sometimes be arranged with an extra charge. The house is non-smoking, but porches are available for smokers. Children and Dogs (no other pets) are acceptable if prior approval has been secured. Child care can sometimes be arranged.
